“We rode the Tanglefoot Trail, starting at the Trailhead Bed and Breakfast in Houston, Ms (mile 0) and finishing at this charming B/B (One Night Stand) in New Albany, Ms (mile 43)....doing it all today. Really nice trail, a very slight incline up...which we barely noticed, being mostly road riders and used to 1500-2500 ft of elevation per ride...680 feet was nothing. Tomorrow going home will be a mostly downhill incline. Plenty of stops in cute little towns with friendly people, very smooth asphalt the whole way, this was our first rail to trail experience. We are going to spend the night here and return to our RV at the Trailhead B/B (which we LOVE), then pack up and head to Memphis for two nights before returning to North Texas. Next trip we will hit Ohio!”

“Our stay was perfect. The grocery store was a short ride or walk away (2 blocks) and had everything we needed with a first class outdoor kitchen waiting for us.

The free laundry was a sweet little amenity and unexpected. The space inside the fence is a small little resort that you can conveniently reach with 2-wheel or four wheel transportation.

And the trail is in great condition and mostly level with plenty of tree cover.”

“Millette, this place is fabulous! We biked across Europe last summer and the eastern US the summer before, and your little oasis is definitely one of the best — if not the best — Bicycle tourist places we’ve stayed. Thank you for everything; dinner was perfect, accommodations are superb.”

“OMG What a wonderful experience with friends last Saturday night! This awesome bed and breakfast is right off of the trail at the end in Houston. A perfect spot after a long exhausting fun day day of riding! A perfect spot to hang out and have fun with friends and like-minded riders! There is a gigantic hot tub to help soothe those sore muscles from all the riding! The bedrooms were perfect all brand new and super cold air conditioning for these hot summer nights. The outdoor kitchen was amazing with An oven, Grill, refrigerator everything you need to have a great party! Can’t wait to go back!”

“Trailhead Bike and Bed was such a delight! It would be amazing for any gathering! They have truly thought of everything, from top to bottom. The comfy cabins, perfect amenities, darling decorations and welcoming outdoor areas were all beautiful, and they make it so easy for you to ride in (or out) and relax!! We loved the entire set-up and would highly recommend it to anyone! It was such a unique and novel getaway, we will definitely be back!”

“My group of 3 riders were BLOWN AWAY in a great way with our stay at the Trailhead Bike and Bed in Houston, Mississippi. It was our 4th of 8 days riding bicycles on the Natchez Trace from Nashville to Natchez.

The owners had great instructions to get there. Additionally, they offered to pick us up off the Natchez Trace and shop for us!!!

The place. WOW. WOW. WOW. This is the blown away part. After going through the code locked gates(very safe) we entered biker paradise.

The room was fantastic also
1. 2 comfortable queen beds
2. On demand hot water for showers
3. Mini fridge
4. Bike designs and details
5. Individual AC Units per bedroom
6. Cool barn door bathroom entrances
7. New everything in the bathrooms

The place had 4 units and I believe she said one was handicap accessible.

They also had RV hookups and water waste (I’m not familiar with RV stuff but my friend pointed this out).

I don’t do many testimonials for places unless they WOW THE HECK OUT OF ME.
The Trailhead BIKE & BED did all of this and more. Again, WOW, WOW, WOW.

This was the coolest, cleanest, newest, and most AWESOME stay on our 444 mile bicycle adventure!!! Bicycle HEAVEN!!!

If you’re traveling by foot, bike, motorcycle, car, or RV I highly recommend this place. There’s also a 40-ish mile bike trail near by that we didn’t get to do this time.
